Fair Competition

The sport competition and the pursuit of excellence as the essence of modern sport
Picture

Fair Competition describes Cheche Vidal's vision of the pursue of the highest form of excellence in sports, providing an essential framework for understanding, in a context of widespread misinformation, the foundational and virtuous role of human association we call sport competition, and its relevance both for the modern sports industry and society as a whole.
The book offers a revisionist version of the history, etymology, and meaning of the sport competition, emphasizing its crucial role as the foundational associative cell of the modern sports industry. Cheche explains how the sport competition is not only the fundamental pillar of the pyramid of universal participation, but also a modern school of agonism that shapes values, character, and resilience in today's societies.
In this context, Vidal develops the fundamental values of Fair Competition, expanding upon the principles of Fair Play, in order to strengthen and protect this essential human association and the industry it generates, ensuring its relevance both in the present and the future.
